@xtauymatiao So hindi pala tayo magkikita diyan? Too bad, lol.
@richtuason Really, that applies to anything, not just tech. (but people with unused tech annoy me the most.)
@richtuason I keep telling her not to do that, but alas.
@richtuason I hadn’t considered that. :))
@pmgomez @primadonnita thanks! :)
“Don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these!?” — Cave Johnson
@xtauymatiao 謝謝! ☺
@hirika Haha. While I was driving the Civic last week, I saw two separate cars with a “PHI” plate. Both were Civics. Nakakainis. :))
@hirika サンキュー!

@philippinebeat Haha, it’s Linux-based (like most routers nowadays), so you can install custom software on it. That’s what I’m referring to.
@philippinebeat You shouldn’t have a problem if you keep the software stock. (I flashed custom firmware.) • It’s around php 5k. @glencharles
@glencharles @yapsestagle Our Nokia M5122 DSL modem (the first one from PLDT) is still bigger. :)) (it’s taller than a 1TB WD MyBook, haha.)
@philippinebeat It’s the Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH. :) I can also recommend the Netgear WNDR3700, which is better, but I couldn’t find it.
@yapsestagle 8-10 Mbps, I think? (The LAN ports are stuck at 10Mbit, and the new router only does 100/gigabit. lol.)
@glencharles Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH, running DD-WRT + optware. I can also recommend the Netgear WNDR3700.
@yapsestagle Of course. I shudder at the thought of replacing it with those dinky Zyxel and Alcatel modems.
@yapsestagle heck no. I solved the issue by placing a spare 10/100 ethernet switch in between the two (which is a funny workaround, really.)
Now that it’s sorted out… new router is awesome! Print/File/Media sharing, Torrent client, VPN/SSH tunneling, fantastic range.
So I spend hours trying to figure out what’s wrong with my new router, only to find out my DSL modem is too old. (10/100/1000 negotiation)
Happy Birthday, @MentalSidekick!
@levi_io That’s part of the fun, you know.
@kennethgyu @richtuason @levi_io @meggykawsek I certainly hope it’s not hatred towards any of us (though I wouldn’t be surprised)
@levi_io … You make it sound so bad. lol. I’m not at home yet though… I’d suggest doing the solo campaign first, anyway.
@mj_gacho no, actually I don’t know what it was called, but it’s like this siopao thing with custard inside.

@yapsestagle I got it for free, dude. lol. If it makes you feel better, Windows 8 might also adopt the Metro look.
@yapsestagle Also, it might be clean and pretty, but usability and features aren’t as good. (if you like the look, you might like WP7? :P)
@yapsestagle Really? It’s my favorite desktop client. (so far) :/ and MetroTwit is built on WPF/.Net so don’t expect one soon.
The iPad version of Echofon does live streaming. (no refreshing) I think this is the only mobile client I’ve tried that provides it.
Out with the family. My sister @cammercheanger is finally going to eat meat (which she gave up for lent, poor girl) after a while. Haha.
@levi_io Remember my suggestion about illuminated lava rings? I take it back. Just do one ring that spirals down. :D

@marionjames05 Oh, definitely. Sounds like it’d be pretty fun :)
@levi_io @marionjames05 I think he’s asking what it means. It stands for “Too Much Information.”
@primadonnita @levi_io Whoops. Yeah, I think that’s what we meant instead of “duffel bag.” Haha.

@hirika Kung brand new, I think about 20k? Not sure about 2nd-hand, but should be palpably less.

@richtuason I’m game, but @levi_io is lame. (Or more like, he has to get up early tomorrow for his clearance stuff at UP.)
@richtuason … it’s a joke. :)) it means “rash in thought,” i.e. one who jumps quickly to conclusions. ;)
Note to self: be less vague, less introspective, or both. … at the least, get friends who are less precipitant. ;)
@richtuason @levi_io No. What the heck? It was really more of a “what am I doing in my life” rather than a “where am I physically” thing.
@richtuason @levi_io nakakainis kayo.
I’m not entirely sure of what I’m doing here, and it’s deathly frightening… but it also makes things all the more exciting.

Watching a fascinating documentary on NHK about these cool trains and their designer. It’s in Japanese but @levi_io’s mom is translating. :D
@pmgomez yeah, but those were all consumer examples. it’s worse if you’re a developer/business. (ISO images, tools from MSDN/ADC, etc.) Boo.
@glencharles I’m not so sure, but I’m assuming it applies across their services. (DSL, 3G, etc.)
